Finding love

When you arrive at your new “home” for the next few years, after you already registered and received your dorm indications the following thing that you are most likely to be doing is to seek a social life. Even if the university, school or college to which you are just arriving does not provide you with a specific guideline or touring guide for new comers, it is almost certain that someone in your group will have a brother or sister in ore advanced groups and the information of the best spots will ooze down to you.

A social life means, of course, knowing new members of the opposite sex –or of the same sex- according to your loving preferences, but finding love can be sometimes harder than it seems, especially if you are moving to a new city far away even from your family state.

Love is almost as necessary as air for an adequate human existence and even more if the human in question is required to obtain high education. And obviously in a time and age when AIDS are a frequent presence on a student’s life, love finding means commitment and compromise, not the mere love making as it used to be in the decade of the 60’s,. 70’s and even the 80’s. So the question is what to do and how to find love when in college, school or university.

It might sound old, but still works. Enroll in several student activities and clubs where you might find people with your same interests. Of course, if you are a sports-oriented person who strives on action and physical activities, there is absolutely no use and no point whatsoever in registering at the drama club or the chess and sciences club.

Other option is to hover around the ideal club sites of your would-be fiancé. If you like good-cook in a fiancé but hate to do any cooking jobs, then enrolling in the cooking class is not a good idea, but it might work to volunteer to be a “guinea pig” for all the plates made at the club. But it does not have to be limited to on campus activities; it is also applicable to any and all activities in and off campus grounds.

However enticing it might be, it is a good idea to maintain inside an age group and a specific area. Crime rates go up, regardless of what the measures taken by the governments are and since it is not a laughing matter, steps need to be taken as an individual to make sure that your time spent achieving a higher education become pleasant and warm

Always make sure to let someone know where you are going and what time he or she should expect you back. This step might mean the difference between assistance in time and no assistance at all regardless of kidnappings and robberies. A flat tire in the middle of nowhere is definitely not a laughing matter.
